This English-speaking leadership programme at Lederne Kompetencecenter is the only open programme of its kind within Denmark’s accredited further and continuing education system.

“Leadership in Practice” brings together managers from international companies across Denmark, giving you the chance to build a strong network of like-minded professionals. It offers space for reflection, exchange of perspectives, and personal growth in a supportive setting. At the same time, you gain practical leadership tools you can apply in your role from day one.

Course structure

The course alternates between theoretical presentations, casework, and exercises and runs over 6–8 weeks. You will participate in study groups and work with the instructor over a total of six days plus one exam day.

Between these days, you will work on real-world business challenges and identify solutions relevant to your role as a leader in your company

Carsten Olesen

Carsten Olesen has many years of experience in leadership and management. He draws on his role as CEO of the management consulting company brandculture, as well as his experience as a strategy and leadership advisor to numerous Danish and international companies.
