The Danish Association of Managers and Executives - Lederne.
Lederne represents the professional, financial and social interests of its members. As a service organisation Lederne offers its members an extensive range of professional services. These services include counselling related to pay and employment terms, legal aid, professional training, unemployment insurance and a magazine "Lederne" ("The Executives").
At present Lederne has approx. 100.000 members. All members are managers and executives from the private as well as the public sector.
Lederne differs from other employee organisations. All our services and products are aimed at managers and executives and counselling will meet the needs of the individual member.
Lederne as a Social Partner
As a social partner, the main goal of Lederne is to increase and strengthen the interests and influence of managers and executives. The organisation represents the views and interests of its members in relation to Parliament, the Government and the administration, as well as other social partners.
Lederne is represented in a large number of
committees, boards and commissions at national, regional, local and international level.
The organisation is a member of The European Confederation of Executives and Managerial Staff (
CEC). CEC represents 1,5 million managers and executives across Europe in the European Social Dialogue.
Management and Structure
The General Assembly is the supreme authority of Lederne and appoints its President and Vicepresidents. The political structure consists of The Executive Board and 19 Local Boards.
